Textbook Agreement
Thank you for choosing The College Store Online as your source for textbooks and other course materials. Below is some important information to review before placing your online textbook order.
The College Store provides the most
current information available for Henry Ford Community College. Please note
that textbook information can change at any time. We are not responsible for
purchases made elsewhere based on the information contained on our website or in
our store and will not make exchanges or refunds for books mistakenly purchased
from any other source utilizing the information on our site. Textbook
information can change for any reason including faculty changes, cancellations,
edition changes, publisher substitutions and price increases, etc. Students who
purchase textbooks directly from HFCC are protected by such changes as long as
our return guidelines are followed. Click on Customer Service for our return
policy.
Books without a price listed (Used Not
Available and/or New Not Available) cannot be purchased as they are not
currently in stock. We have additional stock arriving daily. If you do not
find the title you need, please check back later. If a course is not listed, we
may not have received the book or course information from the department. The
website will be updated on a daily basis as we receive new orders from the
departments and shipments from vendors. By selecting financial aid
as a payment method online, financial aid students agree to have book and supply
charges deducted from their financial aid account. In addition, students
understand that it is their responsibility to pay for all charges not covered by
financial aid. If financial aid awards are reduced or canceled after books
and/or supplies have been purchased, students are responsible for paying any
balance due. The College Store is not liable for any charges made by students
who overspend their accounts. If you select a used book and a
used book is not available when your order is processed, a new book will be
substituted and the new price will be charged to your charge card or financial
aid. Conversely, if you select a book package and some or all of the components
separately, the order total will be adjusted and the duplicate items will not be
processed. Orders take 1-2 business days to process. Once
an online order is placed, it cannot be canceled. Shipping charges will
not be refunded. Your order will be shipped via UPS. Street
addresses are needed for UPS shipments. Shipments within Michigan usually
take only 1-2 business days. UPS Next Day Air and 2nd Day Air options are
reserved for those residing outside the state of Michigan. We do not ship
on Saturday or Sunday and our carrier does not deliver on weekends or holidays.
During limited time periods, "pick up in store" may be an option at no
additional charge. We reserve the right to cancel any orders where
questionable use of credit card or financial aid information is suspected.
We also reserve the right to limit financial aid purchases. By continuing, you agree to the
